Subject:Concerns about Photography Course PH102

Dear Dr. Evans,

I am writing regarding the evening photography course (Code PH102) that I enrolled in for this term. Unfortunately, I have encountered two significant issues that are seriously hindering my progress.

Firstly, the tutor, Ms. Hartley, has cancelled three of the six sessions so far. Each cancellation was announced by email only two or three hours before the class was due to start. While I understand that emergencies happen, this frequency is unreasonable, especially because I travel forty minutes each way to attend each session. Secondly, the cameras and lenses provided are at least ten years old. Four of the eight cameras have broken autofocus, and two have dead pixels on the viewfinder. This makes it impossible to practise the techniques taught in the remaining sessions.

As a result, I feel that I am not receiving the learning experience I paid for. I have missed work to attend cancelled classes, and I cannot complete the required assignments with faulty equipment.

Would it be possible to either assign a substitute tutor for the remaining classes or provide a partial refund for the cancelled sessions? I would also appreciate it if you could service or replace the cameras urgently. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Tom Garcia
