**Model Answer:**

**Subject:** Follow-up – work samples as promised (Graphic Designer interview)

Dear Ms. Davis,

Thank you again for taking the time to interview me last week for the Graphic Designer position. I wanted to follow up regarding the additional work samples that I promised to send you within a few days.

First, I sincerely apologize for the delay. Shortly after our interview, I came down with the flu and was unable to work for several days. As a result, I was not able to compile and format the samples as thoroughly as I would have liked. I am now fully recovered and have attached the promised materials to this email.

As we discussed, I have included three additional campaign samples that were not in my original portfolio:

1. A social media campaign for a sustainable fashion brand – includes carousel posts, Instagram stories, and a short video ad.
2. A brochure redesign for a non-profit organization – includes before and after versions to show my process.
3. A logo and branding package for a small coffee shop – includes logo variations, colour palette, and mockups.

I have also included a brief one-page document explaining my role in each project and the results achieved. I hope these samples give you a better sense of my range and design thinking.

I remain very interested in this position. After our conversation, I was even more excited about your studio’s focus on sustainable design and community-focused projects. I believe my background would allow me to contribute meaningfully to your upcoming campaigns.

Please let me know if you would like any additional information or if you would like me to walk you through any of the samples in more detail. Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the delay.

Sincerely,
Maria Gonzalez
